The VINCAN 8x8 HDBaseT HDMI Matrix Switcher combines independent source routing, long-distance video distribution and audio extraction in a 2U rack-mount system. Connect eight HDMI sources and distribute them to eight independently selectable output zones.
Each zone features a local HDMI output and a mirrored HDBaseT output, allowing up to 16 displays to be connected. Eight HDBaseT receivers are included for remote display connections. Designed for professional AV installations, this 4K60 HDMI matrix switcher supports video resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, along with HDR support, 24V PoC and multiple control options.
Flexible 8x8 HDMI Matrix Routing
Select any HDMI input for any of the eight output zones. Different zones can display different sources, while multiple zones can share the same source. Each local HDMI output and its paired HDBaseT output display the same selected signal simultaneously. This configuration is suitable for installations requiring both nearby displays and remote screens.
4K60 4:4:4 Video with HDR Support
With HDMI 2.0b compliance and 18Gbps bandwidth, the matrix supports 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling for detailed images and clear presentation text. Supported HDR formats include HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG. HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.x compatibility supports integration with compatible HDMI sources and displays.
HDBaseT Extension up to 120m at 4K
Transmit video to each remote receiver over a single Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cable. Supported transmission distances are up to 120 metres at 4K and up to 150 metres at 1080p.

24V PoC for Remote Receivers
All eight HDBaseT outputs support 24V Power over Cable. The matrix can supply power to the included receivers through the same cable used for signal transmission, reducing the need for separate power adapters at remote display locations.
Independent HDMI Output Downscaling
Each HDMI output supports independent 4K-to-1080p downscaling. This allows a local 1080p display to be used alongside a compatible 4K display connected through the paired HDBaseT output. The feature helps installers accommodate mixed-resolution displays within the same AV distribution system.
Audio Extraction for Each Output Zone
The HDMI matrix with audio extraction provides eight coaxial digital audio outputs and eight balanced analog audio outputs. Each audio output group follows its corresponding video output zone.
Connect extracted audio to external amplifiers or audio processing equipment. The balanced analog outputs support two-channel PCM audio, while HDMI audio pass-through supports multichannel formats including LPCM, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Each included HDBaseT receiver also features an analog audio output for audio connections near the remote display.
Web GUI, RS-232 and IR Control
Operate the matrix through its front-panel buttons, included IR remote, RS-232, LAN or built-in Web GUI. The front-panel OLED display shows switching status and configuration information. Advanced EDID management helps installers configure source and display compatibility, while CEC control and IR matrix functions offer additional equipment control options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can all 16 displays select different sources independently?
The matrix provides eight independently selectable output zones. Each zone has one HDMI output and one mirrored HDBaseT output, so the two displays in that zone show the same selected source.
Does it support 4K video over 150 metres?
The supplied manual specifies up to 120 metres for 4K video and up to 150 metres for 1080p video over Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cable.
Are the HDBaseT receivers included?
