Product Overview

The USB 3.0 Fiber Optic Extender Up to 300m with 4-Port USB Hub is designed to extend high-speed USB signals over long distances using optical fiber. It provides reliable USB extension for machine vision, security surveillance, industrial imaging, data storage, and professional USB device applications.

The system consists of an LUSB-301T host unit and an LUSB-301R device unit. The compact host unit connects directly to the USB port of a computer, while the remote device unit provides four USB Type-A ports for connecting cameras, storage devices, printers, and other USB peripherals.

With a maximum transmission rate of up to 5 Gbps, this USB 3.0 fiber optic extender supports storage-device data transmission over distances of up to 300 meters. For USB 3.0 image and camera signal transmission, the recommended maximum distance is up to 100 meters.

The extender uses one LC optical fiber connection and supports single-mode fiber or OM3-and-above multimode fiber. Fiber-optic transmission provides excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference, making the product suitable for installations where conventional copper USB cables cannot provide sufficient distance or stable signal performance.

The LUSB-301 system is plug-and-play and requires no driver installation. The host unit does not require an external power supply, while the device unit is powered by an external 12 V DC power adapter.
