The NSDesignStudio Programmable AV Automation Controller combines professional AV device control, customizable touch-panel interfaces, browser-based operation, remote engineering, and intelligent power management in one integrated platform.
Designed for system integrators and commercial AV projects, the system enables centralized control of displays, projectors, video processors, matrix switchers, audio systems, PTZ cameras, lighting, motorized curtains, environmental equipment, access-control devices, and other third-party systems.
Unlike the other control processors in this product range, NSDesignStudio places greater emphasis on the software and management layer of AV automation. Engineers can design custom user interfaces, configure device commands, create control logic, manage video wall sources and outputs, assign user permissions, and upload or download projects through one visual design environment.
The controller supports local network operation as well as remote programming, maintenance, upgrades, and project transfer over Ethernet or the Internet. Its HTML web mode allows compatible devices to access the control environment through a browser, either through a cloud server over a public network or through a locally deployed web server.
NSDesignStudio also supports iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows, touch-panel, and web-based control. A single programmed project can serve multiple control terminals, with up to 16 devices connected simultaneously according to the hardware manual. Different terminals may use different interfaces to suit operators, administrators, technicians, or room users.
Through its combination of programmable hardware, visual interface design, web-based remote management, multi-platform control, and automated power operation, NSDesignStudio is especially suitable for projects that require more than basic room control.
NSDesignStudio supports browser-based system access through either a cloud server or a local web server.
Authorized users can perform functions such as:
The platform supports remote browser access through public 4G/5G networks as well as local web deployment within a LAN.
The NSDesignStudio software allows system integrators to build custom graphical control interfaces according to the requirements of each room, customer, or application.
Its design environment includes:
The interface editor also provides alignment, grouping, locking, layering, rotation, font, transparency, border, background, and appearance settings.
Buttons can be configured with different normal, pressed, and hover states. Supported user actions include:
Each action can be assigned to:
This makes it possible to create simplified user interfaces as well as more advanced control pages for technical staff.
One control project can support multiple operating platforms, including:
The hardware manual states that up to 16 control devices can be connected simultaneously, and each device may use a different user interface.
The programming platform is designed to reduce dependence on traditional computer programming languages.
Engineers can configure control pages and functions visually, while the software can automatically generate 3D-style buttons and support transparent PNG, WMF, ICO, and GIF image assets. This helps reduce design time and simplifies later maintenance or interface modification.
The programmable control host supports multiple types of third-party equipment through:
According to the hardware manual, the platform provides eight programmable RS232 interfaces, eight RS485 interfaces, eight infrared ports, eight relay ports, and eight digital I/O ports.
The integrated TCP/IP protocol stack supports:
The customizable background server can receive commands from network devices, work with interconnected central controllers, and integrate with compatible third-party control software.
The product image shows four independently managed AC power outputs with corresponding front-panel power-status indicators.
This allows connected AV devices to be incorporated into system startup and shutdown sequences, helping coordinate:
This power-control capability gives NSDesignStudio a clearer all-in-one automation positioning than the other programmable control processors in the product range.
The platform supports combined command sequences consisting of multiple actions. Delay values can be inserted between actions, and combined commands can be nested to create more advanced automation workflows.
Trigger-based functions can respond to:
For example, a single scene command can power on the display, lower the projection screen, select an AV source, adjust the audio system, set the lighting level, and activate a video-conferencing preset.
System integrators can modify projects remotely through Ethernet or Internet connections rather than visiting every site.
Supported remote workflows include:

NSDesignStudio supports:
Its main configuration toolbar includes interface editing, output-node configuration, signal-source configuration, agent configuration, central-control configuration, user configuration, upload, and download functions.
System integrators can create different pages for different rooms, operating modes, or user roles.
Possible pages include:
The platform supports global page backgrounds, solid or gradient fills, custom images, reusable components, antialiasing, transparency, borders, rounded corners, and graphical layering.
Unlike a basic room-control interface, NSDesignStudio includes dedicated configuration areas for:
This makes it suitable for AV systems that combine room automation with distributed video processing and video-wall management. The software manual identifies it as the use and control software for AQS-series distributed video-processing nodes.
Different interface pages and control functions can be created for:
This helps prevent unauthorized users from accessing advanced system settings while maintaining a simple daily operating interface.
NSDesignStudio can provide one-touch meeting-room operation for:
A “Start Meeting” button can execute multiple coordinated commands, while an “End Meeting” button can shut down equipment in the correct sequence.
The browser-based management architecture is suitable for organizations operating several meeting rooms or collaboration spaces.
Facility and AV teams can remotely:
The controller can integrate:
Custom interfaces can be designed for operators, supervisors, and maintenance staff, with different pages and permissions for each role.
Teachers or trainers can control:
The interface can be simplified for everyday teaching while keeping engineering functions on a protected maintenance page.
The automation platform can coordinate:
Preset operating modes can be created for presentations, ceremonies, training sessions, performances, and video conferences.
NSDesignStudio can be used to control:
Browser-based maintenance allows project content and control interfaces to be updated remotely.
The platform is suitable for:
Separate interfaces can be created for guests, hotel employees, event operators, and AV technicians.
Because NSDesignStudio includes video-wall controls, source configuration, output-node management, and distributed node support, it is particularly suitable for projects combining AV automation with networked video distribution.
Typical deployments include:
The NSDesignStudio solution is not positioned as another conventional central control processor. Its main value is the combination of:
This makes it especially suitable for system integrators that need to deliver customized user experiences and maintain multiple AV systems efficiently after installation.
